This policy explains what information Built.By Me collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We're a small Australian business and we keep this simple.
Built.By Me (ABN 85 203 781 470) is a sole trader business based in Queensland, Australia. References to "we," "us," "our," and "Built.By Me" mean this business and its operator. The operator's name is available on request — email us at the address below.
We collect personal information from you in the following ways:
We do NOT collect or store your credit card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Stripe's privacy policy applies to your payment data: stripe.com/au/privacy
We do not currently use analytics platforms (like Google Analytics) or advertising trackers. If we add these in the future, we'll update this policy.
We use the information we collect to:

We don't currently send marketing or promotional emails. If we start a mailing list in the future, you'll have to opt in — you won't be added automatically because you bought a product.
We share your information only with the third-party services we use to run the business:
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, ever. We only disclose it to third parties when required by Australian law (e.g. a valid court order) or to prevent fraud.
We store your information in standard, password-protected business accounts (currently Gmail and Stripe's secure dashboard). We keep order records for at least 5 years to comply with Australian tax law. After that, records may be deleted or anonymised.
Some of our service providers (Stripe, GitHub, Google) are based outside Australia. By using our site or buying a product, you consent to your information being transferred to and stored in countries where those services operate. These providers all have their own privacy obligations and security standards.

This site and its products are not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from minors. If you're under 18, please don't buy our products or send us your information.
We don't set our own cookies. Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) may set basic functional cookies. Stripe's checkout page sets cookies that are necessary to process your payment. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we'll add a banner asking your consent.
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. We won't reduce your privacy rights without notice.
